Player Insurance

Updated Tuesday September 3, 2013 by Silver Eye Sports Hockey League.

New for 2013-2014 is the addition of player insurance. Teams and players have asked and this year, together with CARHA (Canadian amateur rec hockey association) there will now be insurance coverage for all players.

We all know that no matter how safe we try to make the game of hockey, it is still a fast game and accidents do happen; be it an errant puck, a dull skate or incidental contact. What SES is trying to do is offer you some additional peace of mind and protection in the event that something does occur.

All team captians must register all regular players for insurance this season. For only $23/player, you will now have coverage for varying degrees of on ice incidents.
